Bruce's Retirement Video

Our good friend and neighbor Bruce Jolley just retired after forty eight and one half years working for the railroad. With the help of Andrew and LeAnn, I made this video for him. Andrew was a big help...I had a sequence in mind for the first verse but he came up with a better idea and we used it....much better than what I had in mind.
The music at the beginning, Wonderland by Night, was a popular instrumental hit the year Bruce joined the railroad.
We played it at a party held in his honor Friday night at the Jolleys. It was fun to see some old friends we haven't seen for a long time.
Here's also a few photos LeAnn took of some of the shoot.

Wow dad, nice job. It was funny. I thought the kazoo solo was especially funny. Lots of effort too! you made a Railroad museum attached to his house? Amazing.

Warner you are INCREDIBLE! seriously- that is some serious talent, that video is legit! And I for one REALLY appreciate how good you are to my papa. That was so sweet of you to make that for him and I'm sure we'll cherish it forever!!!!

48 years- crazy! the video is seriously too good to be true!

I was convinced that he'd never retire, but what do I know? I left town and he got my job which I hear he had to give it up. Was it incompetence or another job he took on? What a production- thoroughly enjoyed it!!

That was super fun Warner! I wish I could have been at the party to watch it with everyone! I Love the kazoo solo too and the part with Leann sitting in the middle of the gym! Standing on the truck was a nice touch too!
