I was tagged

I was tagged...
I was tagged by Amanda. Since I've never been tagged before, this is kind of exciting! For some reason, this does not look as cool as Amanda's did--I am not very Blog savvy!

Here are the instructions:1. Answer the following questions.2. Tag 5 people by leaving a comment on their blog letting them know they have been tagged, and to view your blog for the instructions.

Questions :

What I was doing 10 years ago:(First I must admit that I had to get out my 1998 scrapbook so I could REMEMBER what I was doing 10 years ago!!!) I had 5 kids at home, Ben and Kristen got married, we had an exchange student from Taiwan for the Summer, we went to Disneyland and I was into scrapbooking.

5 things on my to-do list today:--I will be subbing in the Drafting class today.Fix Dinner, clean off my desk, get passport photos ready ( we are taking a cruise to Alaska in Sept. we have a stop in Canada so we need passports) Read my book club book "21 Days closer to the Savior"

Things I would do if I was suddenly a billionaire: I would relax about our "retirement"!

3 of my bad habits:--

Saving too much stuff(I am getting better about letting the old stuff go)

buying fancy ribbon--I love the big rolls at Costco and it is such a good deal, but I think I have about 20 rolls and I know I will never be able to use it all!

Starting projects that I need Warner's help to finish (I actually do not think this is a bad habit, but Warner does)

Places I've Lived:-Wendell ID, Moscow ID, Springfield, OR

Jobs I've had:-Waitress at Ruth's Tastee Freez,
Costume Mistress for the Theatre Dept. U of Idaho,
Substitute Teacher, High School, all areas.

Things most people don't know about me:-I like watching Crime Shows( Warner hates them so I usually do not watch them when he is at home)
I hate the smell of tires-when we walk into Sears or anyplace that has tires, I have to cover my mouth and nose I just can't stand it!
I went through ground training to become a pilot when I was in High School~~ now I am so chicken I have to do breathing execises just to ride in an airplane! I think it all changed when I became a Mom.

A little PEP from the Miller Pep Band!

Here is a little snip of the Miller Pep Band at last nights Basketball game. It was Senior night, they played North Eugene and came in second by about 10 points. Oh well, It's all about the music anyway! Enjoy--I know this will bring back some fond "Miller" memories for some of you!!

Grandkids feeding ducks

I did this video last year of Nathan and his family down at Alton Baker park feeding the ducks. I love the music......I'll probably use it again sometime for another video when I can get all the grandkids......cause to me they're a pocket full of miracles!
Anyway, I thought it would be fun to share.

Community Creche Exhibit

So, here is a short video of the Creche Exhibit along with the spot from the news about it. This is the 6th year of the event we had nearly 800 Nativities (double from our first year). While people look at the display we have choirs and music groups from the community, and we also had a photographer and a manger scene with costumes etc for families to have a picture taken. This was the first year we expanded to Sunday and it was very successful. I have become a little obsessed with Nativities and this year I displayed 33 encluding 6 Nativitie pins that I bought on E-bay. As the tri-stake Public Affairs Director I have been in charge of this project since the beginning. It is sooooo much work, but very satisfying to watch it grow and get better and bigger each year. I feel strongly that it is important for us to "stand in our communities and testify of Jesus Christ" and that is especilly true in our community.
And now it is over for another year, I will start getting a new Committee together in March or April. But for now I will start getting ready for Christmas and getting excited for lots of family to come and play games and have Sprite and cheese and beef stick and crackers!! Can't wait!!
